Knifefish
Knifefishes are elongated, sideways-flattened, and blade-shaped. They swim by rippling movements of a long anal fin that extends almost the entire length of the underside.

Knifefish occupy a variety of habitats in the wild, including lakes and large rivers. Several species move into flooded forests during the wet season to breed.
