African Pompano
The African pompano, also known as the pennant-fish or threadfin trevally, is a widely distributed species of tropical marine fish in the jack family, Carangidae.

Local Name: Talakitok, Garapeche

African Pompano occur in tropical and subtropical waters around the world. Although there is very little data, it is suggested it spawns during spring and summer months. Juveniles are pelagic while adults can be found near reefs, wrecks, and ledges to depths of 200 ft (60 m).
